Reimagining an Entry

Project Description:

The small front entrance of this 1960’s ranch-style home lacked curb-appeal and usable space for the homeowners to welcome guests at the door. The front hedge had become overgrown and was already removed and a large tree blocking the entrance needed to also be removed.

The Front Entry:

  • Remove the large tree crowding the space.
  • Add an over-sized front porch to dramatically define the entrance.
  • Gently curve the front walk to create easy access for guests.
  • Add shrubs, flowers, and ground cover to provide interest without blocking the view of the new entry.
